Kelly Leroux, Board Member

Kelly has been associated with Pender Island for over 40 years, initially through visiting family, having a part-time cabin and then moving to North Pender full-time in 2003.

Professional experience includes work in biology, forest ecology (BScBio) and public health nursing (BScN). With her partner George, Kelly has raised two sons (now with five grandchildren between them) and started a successful market garden farm on North Pender. Kelly is also actively involved in the visual arts community.

Kelly brings a keen interest in public health, preventive medicine and community well-being to her role in assisting the Board, supporting its goals in primary health care, complementary services and the health of the Pender Island community.
